This building is one of the winning building of the year award category of housing in 2009, held by ArchDaily. The Mountain Dwellings are the 2nd generation the concept of VM House. This apartment can combine 2 functions interdependence that is 2 / 3 part of the building to the car park of the owner's house - this requires large areas of course-and 1 / 3 part for the residence - the landlord would need sunlight, and air fresh, and comfortable atmosphere - so each apartment has a roof garden facing the sun, amazing views and parking on the 10th floor. The Mountain Dwellings Appear as a suburb Neighbourhood of garden homes flowing over a 10-storey building - suburban living with urban density.
The garden consists of a roof terrace and a garden with the character of plants that change according to season. The building has a sprinkler system that keeps the large roof garden. The only thing that separates home and garden wall is a glass sliding door into the light and fresh air.
The residents of 80 apartments is in the first Örestaden park directly outside their homes. The huge parking lot contains 480 parking spaces and an inclined elevator that moves along the inner walls of the mountain.
